Disabling Wordpress automatic core updates

Posted by newman [Thursday, 19 February 2015 - 11:40]   No comments

While some of you may be quite OK getting e-mail from your Wordpress site that it updated itself automatically to the last version, there may be some of you (myself included) that would prefer to initiate such a procedure by themselves.

Doing some reading, I found out that this nice feature is enabled since Wordpress 3.7, but somehow I can't remember clicking to anything of the sort... anyway heres' what you have to add to your wp-config.php :

define( 'WP_AUTO_UPDATE_CORE', false );

Welp, hope you're happy now :)
